Why on earth would you waste your time pursing an online education, to get an online degree for it not to be accredited. When you get a degree from an institution that is accredited, it adds legitimacy to it. There are so many diploma mills prevelant on the internet, the accredidation system in place today makes sure that when people say that even though they got a nursing degree online, they are able to perform at a certain level of expertise.
Accredited online degrees are not hard to obtain if you decide to get your education online. You just have to do your homework. You also have to avoid any offer that guarantees you a degree in two weeks for a nominal fee and no work.
